Minto Peewee Rep Tournament Champions - Mt Forest Minor Hockey Association

Peewee Rams won the Minto Tournament Championship on Sunday December 6th in Harriston.

Sunday's tournament started of well with game 1 against rival Durham Huskies. The boys came away with a tidy 4 - 2 win. This put us up against an even bigger league rival Hanover Falcons. Having lost both league games to Hanover the boys were well motivated for this game. It was a sweet 3 - 0 victory and onto the finals against North Middlesex Jr Stars. In a previous tournament meeting with the Stars in Exeter the Stars walked away with a 5 - 0 win. Once again the boys were pumped to make amends for that previous lost. They had an explosive start and a 3 - 0 lead at the end of the 1st period. In a statement game on how well the boys are playing, the game was never in doubt as they crushed the Stars for a 7 - 2 final and the championship. A true team effort and a well deserved trophy. Nice work boys. This all came after a tough all day Saturday tournament in Ripley for the Legion District Peewee Rep Tournament. A lot of hockey and an amazing effort from the Peewee Reps. Be proud of yourselves, you've all earned it.
