Durham Tournament
The Mount Forest Rams Novice L.L. traveled to Durham this past weekend for a medal winning tournament Performance!
Game Once saw the Rams meet Walkerton. The teams, evenly matched, played well into the third period before either team scored. Then Eli McCook, assisted by Kaleb Rice, popped in a goal putting the Rams ahead 1-0. Walkerton returned with a goal, resulting in a five minute over-time sudden death period. This ended without a goal for either side, so the draw was killed with an exciting shoot-out! Scoring for the Rams were: Parker Snyder, and Nathan Zeinstra, the teams goalie Noah Felsbourg did an awesome job of only letting 1 goal past him in their shoot-out, resulting in a win for the Rams!
And the Rams kept Winning!
Game 2 saw the Rams win in a close game against Wingham, 1-0 with Parker Snyders scoring in the Second period.
Then, the Rams met Minto....and fought hard, but had run out of steam. The day ended with Mt Forest Rams taking home the "SILVER" trophy!
