Midget HL Girls back on track
The Midget Girls HL returned to action with a big win over Belmore after taking a 3 week break from games.
The first period was scoreless with end to end action that made both goalies earn their keep. The 10 minute mark of the second frame AP Elyse Bridgwater worked the puck past 3 Belmore players down the left wing and threw a perfect pass to Lizzie Gerrie in front of the Belmore net - Lizzie made no mistake and one timed it to give Mt Forest the lead. Bridgwater set up Jenna Yake for the second goal of the game just a minute into the third period. Mt Forest hung on for the win and sweet revenge as the last time these two teams met Belmore won 3 - 0.
