Tough Home Loss
A BIG HELLO to all of our fans out there....I know there are many....
We were back home this past Wednesday night, against the always threatening Saugeen Shores.  AGAIN, we've GOT to PLAY THREE SOLID periods of hockey gents....
I do have to say though, there are some very STRONG points to the team.  Those that are watching can tell that all of you are beginning to come together as a team.  Your passes are better, your puck control and your puck possession is better.  It's just that you have to play three SOLID periods of hockey, not two and a half....

The first period was scoreless until Saugeen Shores scored with about a minute and a half left.
We shook that one off, and probably played the BEST period of hockey so far.  Wes PENNEY scored first, unassisted, followed by Dylan HOFFMAN on just determination(you're good at that Dougie), again unassisted.  Tom BYE was rewarded with a goal for his fine effort, with the assist going to Luke "wrap around" MCLELLAN.
The third period was well played for the first half.  Unfortunately THREE unanswered goals were scored within about a three minute time span...now of course PENALTIES didn't help.  You can't give up gents...you can't stand around and watch....
Our goalie, Justin RAWN played quite well...the loss wasn't his fault.
Hey, I know that I harp about HARD work, but gents, NOTHING in this world comes for free.  If you want to be successful, you have to expend some energy.  You've ALL got energy, we just have to capture it !!  We'll work on that, I assure you.
Practice Saturday morning....on the ice at 7:00am....
