When a TIE is Better Than a LOSS
So, back from a successful day in Durham, the Midget Reps appeared back in town for the usual Wednesday night home game.
Tonights' game was against Kincardine, one of the teams we faced in the Durham Tournament, a team we beat in a shoot-out.  I believe we were all feeling pretty positive about this game.  But those positives withered away as just 20 SECONDS into the game Kincardine SCORED....YUCK !!

We quickly regrouped.  It appeared to me that we were all over Kincardine for most of the game, we just couldn't seem to capitalize on our numerous chances.  Jake BULLEY started us off with an unassisted goal to draw us even prior to the end of the first.  During the second period, Kincardine scored two.  Jake BULLEY seemed to redirect a point shot of David ZEINSTRA's, and we were within one again.  I have got to say that I'm impressed with this teams' hand-eye co-ordination and with our foot (soccer induced) work.  It's something to watch !!
OK, THIRD period....you know, we did play a good third period for the first time this year.  Jake (hat trick) BULLEY was the only one to score for both teams in the third.  Jake was in the right place for a nice little pass from Burke CAMERON.  Jake was then leveled by the over exuberant Dylan HOFFMAN behind the Kincardine net.  Nice night Jake....
Not a bad game gents.  Yeh, we CAN play better.  I believe you know as well as I that we ALL have to be ready to play every game...it's coming folks.
Practice Saturday morning, then onto the Wingham Silver Stick next week.  Good Luck !!
