Big Win in Walkerton
The Peewee boys played a hard fought game up in Walkerton Sunday night, and came out on top 4-1

A very good effort by the whole team with Alex Droog starting the scoring, with a nice deke early in the 2nd.

Jarod Bowden put the Rams up by 2 with a blasting slapshot that the Walkerton netminder had no chance on, for his first of the year, with assists going to Zack Hess and Andrew Zorychta.

After Walkerton came within 1, on a tip in that was just out of the reach of netminder Tyler Rice, Carsten Cottingham put Mt.Forest back on top by 2, with a one timer that came from Aidan Felsbourg and Tyler Troup.

Alex Droog sealed the win, an empty netter from 150 feet, with the assist going to goalie Tyler Rice.

This was a hard fought game and although we got into some penalty trouble, the boys fought through and came away with the win.

Again, I would like to remind the boys that although not everyone gets on the game sheet when we score, it is still a team effort. Which was shown with the hard work of the defencemen that kept the play in the other end, that ended up with us scoring a crucial goal to take back a 2 goal lead. Well Done!!

Lets take this effort into the Chesley tournament on Sunday and come home with the Championship.

WELL DONE BOYS
