Atom Girls Take Consolation at Year End Tournament
The Atom Girls do it again!! After a nail-biter game Friday night against Markdale (2-1 Markdale), the team went on to play Owen Sound on Saturday. MF's Samantha Gans scored a single goal in the second period, and goaltender Marissa Cottingham with a shut-out, the Rams advanced onto the Consolation final Sunday. Blyth-Brussels and Mount Forest went through 3 periods scoreless. Sudden-death over-time was ended when Samantha Gans scored! 1-0 MF!!
