Jr RAMS Get First Win
In an exciting game on Sun afternoon the Jr Rams pulled out a nailbitter victory.   The players played a great defensive game and did alot of great back checking to help keep the sore low.

It was a back and forth type game at the start until 0:38 seconds left in the first period Flesherton scored to put them up 1-0.  With a quick pep talk between periods started the 2nd period with a goal from Samuel Carriere assisted from Chloe Roy to make it 1-1.  As the period went along there were alot of scoring chances by all Jr rams but the Flesherton goalie kept turning them away.  On a break away a Flesherton forward netted a top shelf goal past Morgan in net, to make the score 2-1 at 5:19 of the 2nd period.  The game remained tied the rest of the second with some big saves made by Owen Morgan in goal.  Jr Rams came out strong in the third period getting alot of chances and keeping Fleshertons chances down due to alot of hard work and great skating.  At 7:46 left in the third Everett Kerr made a tape to tape pass to Samuel Carriere in front and he made no mistake and put it 5 hole to tie the game at 2-2.  The remaider of the game was mostly Mount Forest chance after chance after chance.  Flesherton a few but, were turned away either by Morgan or strong defensive play by Weiser, Roy, Kelly and Glerum.   The game looked like it would be headed to a tie with the rams all over the Golden Hawks but, with 1:00 minute left a scramble in front of the Flesherton goalie with the puck Lewis had a few wack at the puck and then the puck was just sitting in open ice when, Charlie Mckenzie raced to it and shot it into the net to score the winner assisted by Will Lewis.  It got really loud and it was like a playoff game or something and the kids faces said it all.   Also hard on the puck, good passes and good positional play were preformed by  Ella Black, Matthew Henry, Lucas Fiddler and Chaise McRobb

Great Job Rams way to go!!
