Atom AE Neilson Division Champions
The Atom AE team won the Championship with an exciting 2-1 overtime win. The 3rd overtime game in a 4 game series. Tcdmha scored in the 2nd period to take a 1-0 lead. The Rams agressive play was rewarded when Anthony Kelly flipped a rebound over the Rebels goalie late in the 3rd to send the game into ot.
The Rams put on the inital pressure in OT but the best scoreing chance was by TCDMHA when a mad goal mouth scrabble ensued somehow the puck was still outside the net. The Rams regrouped with added pressure only to give up a breakaway that Jacksen McKenzie made a great save to prolong the game. Ty Duncan had seen enough and he picked up the puck pushed past the Rebel defence and buried a series winning shot over the goalies shoulder. Congratulations Rams
