An excellent start to season
From a defensive gem to an offensive jaugernaut the atom girls showed that they can play both styles of hockey in exhibition games 1 and 2 of the season.
After a masterful 1-0 victory against Kincardine on Sunday the girls travelled to Walkerton for a Monday night tilt against the Walkerton Capitals. Walkerton skated hard and put up an excellent effort but at the last wistle the MF girls skated away with an 8-0 victory. As much as nothing went right for Walkerton, nothing could go wrong for Mount Forest as the girls seemed to click on all lines. Nice work girls, get ready for practice Thursday afternoon as Coach Kevin has a few things to work on that he didn't like seeing in these first two games. A great start Rams..........lets keep this train rolling!!!
