Big Weekend Ahead For Peewees!
After coming off a big 4-0 win in arthur last Sunday, the boys are looking for a couple wins at home this weekend to put us up over the .500 mark on the season.
We are currently sitting with a 5-5-1 record and after a lengthy post game practice Thursday night, the coaches and players both agree that we are a better team than what we have brought to the rink each game and that we can play better. So heres our chance to show ourselves what we can do.
Our first game is going to be a tough challenge against the Walkerton Prestige team Saturday @ 2:30. We are currently 1-1 against these guys so we will need to bring our "A" game to make this a competitive game.
We then play Hanover on Sunday @ noon. We tied Hanover earlier in the season and again will have to play good hockey to come away with a win.
I, and the rest of the coaching staff have told the guys that we know they can play good hockey, we have seen most of these players for years now. The players need to start believing they can do it, and with that start off by putting forth a good effort everytime they hit the ice. The rest will come after the effort is put forward.
