Rams on a Roll
It's hard to slow a good team down...after that tough loss in triple OT way back in the London tournament our Peewee LL boys have not let their guard down.  They won the last of their league games, annihilated the competition in some exhibition games and dominated all the others to win the Championship at the Seaforth Tournament over the weekend.  This set up a 12 game winning streak as they headed into Hanover for the first of their playoff games tonight.

There isn't too much to say about this game, evenly matched teams, scoring chances on both ends and by the end of the first period the only mark on the game sheet was a penalty.  By the end of the 2nd, Hanover managed to get past our defence, pop one into our net and get themselves on to the scoreboard.

Words of inspiration from the coaches during the flood and our boys came back out to settle this match.  Our boys are the picture of teamwork and determination and before long Carsten fired one into the net on a play set up by Ryan and Chris.  With the score evened up, our powerful defence trio of Alex, Mitchell and Chris managed to shut down the attackers  keeping the shots to a minimum.  When they did get past there were no worries as netminder Tyler was there, solid as ever, with his red hot glove and never a rebound given out.  Down in the other crease, the Hanover goalie was kept busy with shots ringing off the posts and Rams everywhere applying pressure but before we could get one in the buzzer sounded ending the 3rd period.

"Enough is enough...it's a school night" said coach Kevin...and with that Chris (who's first love is school) takes the pass from Dalton rushes the length of the ice, steps around the Hanover skaters and puts the game in the record books.

These Rams are on a Roll and are looking forward to continuing when they face the Mildmay Monarchs this Saturday!

You make us proud...Go Rams Go!!!
