Rams Roll into 2012!
The Mount Forest Atom Rep Rams have had a successful 2011 season!
Now onto 2012 and the Playoffs!

With two underage players and five first year Atoms - the coaching staff knew the roster had talent but were not certain whether it would translate to the ice.

However, from the drop of the puck, the Rams showed that they not only had talent, but they also were hard workers and could play as a team as well.

The Atom Reps have been the beneficiary of great goaltending all year from Morgan Troyer.  Troyer has made the easy saves and made the hard saves look easy.  With a goals against average of 1.88% along with 9 shutouts he has given the Rams a chance to win every night.

Always a goalies best friend is a hard working defense.  With strong skaters - Owen Moyer, Jake Kleinstuber, Owen Weiser and Alex Iles on the backend.  These four boys have competed hard, used their speed and chipped in both offensively and defensively.  They continue to improve with each game.

With any team success you need big contributions from your forwards.
The coaches put the two forward lines together at the start of the year and they found instant chemistry.  Both lines have provided a balanced scoring attack for the Rams.  The lines of Tanner Gordon, Brody Leblanc and Luke Eurig and Owen Troyer, Eli McCook and Evan Dewar have played the entire year at both ends of the rink.

The Reps finished their regular season strong with  20 wins -6 losses -3 ties - including a thrilling victory over the Minto Mad Dogs in the final game of the regular season 3-2.  A complete team effort including stellar goaltending again proved to be the difference.

Congratulations Rams on all your hard work and success in 2011!

Let's keep in going into 2012!

Good luck.
