Great Effort
The Novice team started the playoffs with a tough loss against the Hanover Falcons. Then they faced the Listowel Cyclones team #2 and out skated them, however again came up short in overtime.
The Novice team didn't give up and faced the Cyclones team #2 on home ice. The rams skated hard and never gave as they were determined to get a win under their belts for the first round of playoffs. A close game with only a one goal difference going into the third, the rams knocked one home to defeat the Cyclones!
The rams then moved on to face Listowel team #1. The game could have went either way, but again the rams never gave up and pulled through as a team and came out with their second win for the playoffs!
With two more games left in the first round of playoffs the novice team is determined to come out with wins and move on. Keep up the hard work rams and most of all continue to HAVE FUN!!!!
Don't forget, team party (potluck) will be on March 10th after our 12pm game at Deb and Kyle's house. Time to celebrate a great season! GO RAMS GO!!!!!
