Back in the winner's circle
After having last weekend off our Atom Rams came out of the gate strong today with a 2 - 0 win over Mildmay/Teeswater. Our girls were showing some great positional play and our opponents were definately having a hard time getting the puck passed our stone wall defense of Jaime, Aalia, Shea Lynn and Jayde. With the majority of play in Mildmay's end, the girls created lots of chances in front of the net but it was the end to end rush from veteran Jayde McRobb that got us on the scoreboard first, followed by another unassisted goal shortly after by a hard working Morgan Flanagan who barrelled through their defense and blew it past the netminder. The hard work and effort of all the girls definately played a part in this win! Great job girls!
