Team Work = Win!
The boys proved that if you play hard, you win big! The first 2 periods were a little tense, but they got their groove in the third with a whopping 5 goals!

The boys seemed a little scattered in the first 2 periods, but still managed to get 3 goals in. Our first goal made it in with the help from Aidan (#16) assisted by Alex K (#9) & Chris (#11). Defense worked hard throughout the game pinching the puck in the opposition side! This resulted in a second goal by Alex K (#9) assisted by Jordon (#14). Brennon (#5) took a direct hit from the slap shot Chris (#11) aimed at the opposition net. I guess that is what is referred to as taking one for the team! Quick moves on Goalie Tyler R (#30), kept the puck out of our net for the most part! Our third goal landed in by Jordon (#14) assisted by Kyle D (#17). The fans really showed their support with cheers and ringing bells!

So we were up 3-2. I'm not sure what Coach Kevin said to the boys, or what type of encouragement he used, but when they came back on the ice, the boys were on FIRE!!! Aidan (#16) managed to get our fourth goal in. Then Devon (#24) assisted by Brennon (#5), and again Devon (#24) assisted by Daniel (#4) & Chris (#11) managed to get the next 2 goals! One more and Devon would have had a Hat Trick! The next was scored by Chris (#11), and the final goal of the game was scored by Sully (#3) assisted by Alex K (#9).

With a final score of 8-2, the boys proved that if they know their plays, and work together, success can be had! Great teamwork guys! I'm already looking forward to next Saturday's game!

To the Parents: Feedback is always welcome! Thanks to those who corrected me on the spelling of names! I truly want to make the team proud of their accomplishments, and having miss-spellings isn't the way to do it! :)
