LAST SHOT WINS AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN
For the last 3 games in this series the team that has the last shot has won. The 4th game in Hanover was no exception. The Rams took an early 1-0 lead only to see Hanover tie the game on a power play. Hanover scored early in the 3rd to take a 2-1 lead. The Rams rallied to tie the game 2-2 with 40 seconds left in the third.
With overtime only seconds away Hanover lifted a high shot at the Mount Forest net striking the goalie in the mask. The shot landed in the crease and Hanover managed to push the rebound into the net to seal the victory.
