Rams defeat Blythe Brussels
Friday night was the setting for a great game against Blythe Brussels. Rams had super pass play with great accuracy and control and just the right amount of speed! It wasn't long before Zack Hess scored the first goal from a pass from defenseman Owen Milne and Daniel Conrad. Not two minutes later, Jesse Robinson put one in after receiving a great pass from Zack Hess off of defenseman Luke Zettler. Suddenly we were up 2-0.
But the tides turned in the 2nd period. We came out and played a little more defensively. Blythe took advantage of this and had it tied up 2-2 at the end of the second period. With grit and determination, Zack Hess scored in the 3rd period from some nice puck handling from Jesse Robinson.
Then Devon Morgan and Kurt Snyders quickly put in the 4th goal against Blythe Brussels. With 1:29 remaining and one Ram in the penalty box, Blythe removed their goalie. It was 6 on 4! Rams won the face off, a quick pass to Owen Milne who shot it all the way down the ice into the Blythe Brussles goal! Finishing the game on a score of 5-2! Great game Rams!
