Gilder earns another shut out!
After a terrible snowy drive to Wingham on Tues, Jan 29th....our boys, very shorthanded went on to beat Wingham 3-0.  Goalie Logan Gilder added yet another shut out to his credit with his quick reflexes and great glove hand.

The first period started off with a nasty hit to defenseman Kurt Snyders, which set the tone for the game.  Then we followed up with a pass from David Scott to Joel Webers for the first goal of the night.  Then Wingham decided that, with a full team, they would put up quite the contest.  Our Rams had to deal with a short bench....only 8 players for this game.  Our boys were double and triple shifting and yet they did not let themselves down.  Shortly after a squabble between Devon Morgan and instigated by a Wingham player, the boys found some incentive to show Wingham that you can't do that to one of our players!  So in the beginning of the third period, Zack Hess gave Joel Webers a zinger pass and Joel obligingly stuck it in the net for his second goal of the night.  Not 12 seconds later, Daniel Conrad gave Zack Hess the puck, then Zack took it down the ice for another goal.  It was now 3-0.  Our great defensemen gave some excellent rushes to the net, yet the Wingham goalie stonewalled us.  They certainly provided the spectators with an exciting game!
