The atom girls had their annual Christmas party again this year and I would like to say it didn't get out of hand , the girls where told no beer and with a sigh they all agreed.
But the same can not be said for the mothers who got a little crazy this year, maybe a little too much eggnog! good things for all the dads on the team to act a little more responsible I know they where all kind of tired after doing a lot of baking for the party!!
So far this season the girls have been having a banner year we only have 2 league losses so far to TCDMHA who has a very strong squad this year. We have been getting contributions from every girl on the team. Wether it be with scoring goals , passing tremendous defense Led by Jordyn, Lexi W, Cassidy, Bailey and sometimes Brianna A. These girls have been lights out keeping the shots down on Brianna who by the way has 8 shutouts this year in 20 games. The offense has been on fire with 3 girls having scored 20 or more goals and 1 is sitting at 49 after 20 games. But the biggest thing with this years team is they are always thinking pass first which makes for a very tough team to play against and as a coach I love to see that. These girls are having a blast this year as anyone who was at the party Saturday night and heard the noise can attest to.
