Rams Opened the Dam Gates
The U-15 boys didn't score first against the Mid-Huron Huskies, but when they did the flood could not be stopped with the team putting forth an incredible effort.

The atmosphere in the building was electric today, as the Rams, in a must win situation, convincingly showed they are worthy of this division title opportunity. Elements flowed cohesively, with every forward scoring a goal.
The first period was opened with the Huskies scoring 28 seconds in. Goalie #30 Pryce L. didn't see too many quality shots from the Huskies, but he was able to handle the hard ones from the outside well. He'll have had to celebrate his win with his Grandma's Birthday at tonight's party. #16 Madden B. assisted on #14 Griffen Y.'s opening goal for the Rams 11 seconds later and the flood gates broke. Defenceman #15 Nolan D. whetted his appetite for offence by finishing the period with an unassisted goal.
The game winning goal came at 21 seconds into the second period, scored by #16 Madden B., assisted by #15 Nolan D. and #13 Brennan B. Centreman #18 Troy A. found the back of the net on a shot assisted by #16 Madden B. and #6 Roewn O. The goals just kept coming. #16 Madden B. scored his second of the game assisted by #14 Griffen Y. and #13 Brennan B. The Huskies saw their last goal scored mid-way through the second. #88 Owen R. scored an unassisted power play goal to close the second.
During the third period defence squads did an excellent job keeping the Huskies away from the net and breaking out of their own zone. Scoring action for the Rams came furiously in the dying minutes of the game starting with #77 Mason C.'s power play goal, assisted by #18 Troy A. and #88 Owen R. and assisting on the final goal of the game was #14 Griffen Y. and #55 Jordan D. - goal scored by #6 Roewn Oakes.
The dam is open now for the Rams to take this flood of offence into their Tuesday night game against the Wingham Ironmen at 8:30pm.
