Jeff Davies Memorial Champs
This last Saturday the Mount Forest Novice Rep Rams travelled to Minto for the Jeff Davies Memorial tourney. Action started early at 8am against the Wallace Sabres. The Rams cruised to a decisive 5-0 win. Next up at 11am was Bruce Peninsula. After giving up their first goal of the tournament just 8 seconds in to the game the Rams then poured on the pressure and never looked back earning a 6-1 win in a chippy battle. Walkerton Hawks were the only other team to go 2-0 in the round robin and were our opponent in the "A" final. The Rams were determined and won every puck battle throughout the game and rolled over the Hawks to a 4-1 win. Congrats kids your hard work paid off!!!
