PEEWEE LL TEAM WINS 2 OUT 3 GAMES
The Rams are back playing regular scheduled games. Three games in five days plus a practice makes for a busy week.
The Rams first opponent was Saugeen Shores . The local team played an excellent game but the Saugeen Shores goalie was equal to the task turning away shot after shot. Despite the Rams best effort the final was 2-0 for the visitors.
The next day the team travelled to Hanover to play the second place team in their division. The Rams played a great game and came away with a well deserved 5-3 victory.
Wednesday night the Rams travelled to Howick for an exhibition game. I don't know if it was too much hockey in a short time or the foggy drive to the game. But it was not one of the teams more inspiring games. The game was a struggle from start to finish.
Trailing 2-1 going into the third period Kian Droog stepped up his game and scored 3 goals to help the Rams come away with a 4-3 victory.
Next up is another tough Hanover game Sat at 3.30pm in Hanover.
