Good afternoon Peewee LL Players and Parents,
Just a few things to touch base on today!
AEMHA Tournament- Sun.Nov.28, 2010
We now have our game times!! We will be playing at:
11am Mt. Forest vs. Bruce Peninsula
1pm Mt. Forest vs. TCDMHA
There is a 1/2 hour break before the finals.
C Final is at 2:30pm
B Final is at 3:30pm
A Final is at 4:30pm
Just a heads up, there is a gate fee at this tournament, somewhere around $4 or $5.
Lunch will be provided to all players and coaching staff. The tournament is being held in
CHESLEY.
Owensound Attack vs. Niagara Ice Dogs- Sat. Dec. 18, 2010
MFMH is able to purchase tickets at a prorated rate of $10. for anyone who wishes to attend this game.
Mount Forest native Mike Schwindt will be playing and what better way to show hometown support, then have as many members of the MFMH association attend wearing Rams attire!! If you are interested in attending this game let Kevin know a.s.a.p. so we can contact Jay for the tickets.
Tickets are numbered and on a first come first serve basis. This will
not be an event we will be attending as a team, as we do have a 4pm game that night.
Santa Claus Parade- Fri.Dec 3, 2010
The parade is fast approaching, and we are able to enter a float should we choose to. This is not a mandatory thing, however in the past it has been a great experience and another chance for the boys to bond as a team. The theme this year is
Christmas in the 60's. We only have a couple of weeks to plan and construct, should enough parents show interest. If there is anyone who is creative and would like to spearhead this project, please let us know by Sunday, it would be greatly appreciated!!
A truck and trailer are going to be needed as well, if anyone knows of someone who has access to either of these.
And finally practices!!!
It is very important that we have full attendance at our practices. As I am sure you have noticed our practices are few and far between so we really want to take advantage of the ones we do have. With the shuffle of line mates and positions that can occur in the season, we want to make sure the kids understand their positions and are comfortable with last minute changes. The more practice we can get the better we will get!! That being said.......
