The saddest 2 words in the english language. The Novice season came to an end on Sunday morning when the Rams tied Aylmer 2-2 in a game they needed to win to move on to the championship game. After the game some of the spectators waiting for the next game complimented the players on the quality of their performance. Several times this year the team received compliments on they way that they play such a complete TEAM game. All and all it was a very successful season on and off the ice. Hope everyone associated with the team a happy and safe summer. !!!!!GO ...

The Novice team started slow again Tuesday night with Kincardine jumping in front 1-0 in the first 20 seconds. The Rams responded 10 seconds later to knot the score at 1-1. Kincardine scored twice more to take a 3-1 lead into the 2nd period. The message from the coach was settle down and play our game. A much better 2nd period ensued with the Rams scoring once to make it a 3-2 game. The 3rd period saw Mount Forest score to even the score 3-3. Kincardine scored to go ahead 4-3. But just like a repeat of Monday night the Rams stormed back with 2 late goals to secure the win and the ...

After an emotional weekend of hockey the Rams had to regroup for game 3 of the finals vs Kincardine. The Rams started a little slow but started to gain momentum in the 2nd period. Kincardine scored 1st in the 2nd period and the 2nd period ended with the Rams trailing 1-0. The Rams tied the score early in the 3rd. Kincardine regained the lead late in the 3rd . Never say die Rams battled back to tie the score with 3 minutes left. With everyone thinking overtime was inevitable Will Lewis sped down the wing and cut to the net burying a hard shot behind the Kincardine goalie. The Rams tighten ...

The Rams hosted the Novice Rep tournament on Sat and it was a huge success. The Rams defeated Walkerton 5-0 and West Grey 2-0 to advance to the championship game against ST Marys Rock. The team played an excellent game, but the game was 7 seconds to long and the Rams came out on the short end of a 6-5 score. Congratulations to all the parents for their time and effort it was a GREAT day.
