IT WAS NICE WHILE IT LASTED
The Rams Silver Stick dreams came to an abrupt end Sat morning in Blyth when they faced a bigger and more experienced Twin Centers team.
The opposition came out flying and Rams could not with stand the early pressure.
Twin Centers scored 2 early goals and 1 late in the first period to build a 3-0 lead. The Rams played a good 2nd period only surrendering 1 goal. Trying to get back into the game the Rams had some early 3rd period scoring chances but could not beat the Twin Center goalie. The Twin center team then scored 2 late period goals for a 6-0 final.
Although the Rams had a very respectable 2-1 record they lost out on the plus minus tiebreaker.
All and all a good 3 game showing for the team.
So it is off to Goderich to the face the Sailors this afternoon at 3.30pm. Before returning Sunday to Mount Forest for a 2pm game against the Fergus Elora Fusion AE team.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GO RAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
