The Mount Forest midget House league rams played the Saugen Shores Lightning at home on November 20th 2009 looking for revenge from an earlier loss in the season ending the boys hopes of a perfect season. The boys came out having no mercey in this game. This game had everthing that you could possibly imagine.    

    The boys came a little bit slow out of the gates and this showed as it was a close game after the first period. The first goal of the game was scored by Justin Byers and assisted by Simon Griffith and Brad Corley.The Goal was answered by the lightning at the 1:31 mark. The game was tied throuh 15 min of play. 

    In the second period the boys took there game to the next level as they used there speed to there advantage as they scored a goal at the 14:07 mark in the second it was an unassisted goal  by Scot Donald. The boys tightened the there d defence in the the second of the game and just went on the attack scoring 4 more goals in the period goal scorers in the period were Brock Doney assisted by Matt Gerrie and Curtis Zippel. The boys kept poring it on with another goal scored by Brandon Kopp unassisted. The boys were not done there as they scored another goal by Justin Byers his second of the game assisted by Simmon Griffith. The boys toped off there second period with another goal scored by Brad Corley and assisted by Curtis Zippel and Brock Doney. The score at the end of 2 periods of play was 6-1. 

     The Boys gave no mercy in the third adding 4 more goals in the period for a convincing win on home ice to keep there winning streak on home ice and a perfect home schedule alive as well. Goal scorers in the third period were Scott Donald his second of the game also unassisted. The next goal was scored by Curtis Zippel assisted by Cody Mccracken and Brock Doney. The next 2 goals were scored by Brock Doney his second and third goals of the game assisted by Scot donald and a unassisted goal to end the game with a convincing 10-1 win the boys look to continue there home winning streak on Saturday Nov 21st 09 at 9 o'clock against shallow lake good luck boys.
