Lack of puck luck sinks Rams
Some hard work by the Mount Forest Rams peewee C's could not overcome a lack of puck luck around the net as the hosts fell 2-0 to the visiting South Bruce Otters on Sunday in Western Ontario Athletic Association girls hockey play.

The game could have been a little more lopsided but for the hard work of atom call-up Brianna G. who made some big saves to keep the Rams in the game. That earned Brianna the Super Girl cape. The Rams had lots of chances around the net with the McRobb sisters Jayde and atom call-up Chaise both had good shots. Morgan F. had several big chances while Shea-Lynn was robbed after a wide-open look in front of the net.Two mistakes in the third sunk Mount Forest but the loss wasn't for a lack of effort as the finally healthy Rams were solid in both ends for the entire game. Paige D. earned the hard hat as she filled in at centre for captain Haven L. and turned in a solid two-way effort. The Rams are back in action on Saturday when the West Grey Warriors visit. Game time at the Mount Forest Sports Complex is 2:45 p.m.
