JAYDEN ELMORE MEMEORIAL TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS
The peewee LL team left town on Friday afternoon in a blustery snow storm, but the hockey Gods were with us as we all arrived save and sound in London. The team started a little slow on the big ice surface at the Western Fair Sports complex. But when the game ended the Rams had defeated the Waterloo Skills Plus team by the score of 6-2.

The team celebrated with a dinner at a local restaurant. Then it was off to bed to get ready for a 9am game against the Barrie Colts.
Knowing it would a very tough task the boys came ready to play. A very exciting game came to the conclusion with a 2-2 draw.
Game 3 started with the squad knowing a win against the local London team would guarantee us a spot in the playoff round on Sunday. The boys responded with a convincing 4-1 victory.

Sunday morning the competition was from Oakville, another tremendous effort from everyone saw the Rams score the winning goal in the last 2 minutes. Final Rams 2 Oakville 1.

The championship followed with a return match against the Waterloo Skills Plus. A tight game was blown open by a couple of 3rd period goals. Final score was Rams 4 Waterloo 1.

A terrific 5 games of hockey by the Rams, the offence mounted an 18 goal effort while the very tough Ram defence backstopped by 2 sharp goalies only allowed 7 goals in 5 games.
