Thank you for being part of picture day and Reeves Cup last Saturday.
It is always a busy day and your patience and participation is
appreciated.
We have had some inquiries as to why we had to do pictures off the ice
this year.
Last year we had a parent complain, which ended up being sent to OMHA. They felt it was not safe for the children to be on the ice with no helmets. Our executive felt it was safe because we had several people around to help, and supervise the kids on the ice. But because this complaint went to the OMHA level, we had to find a resolution, and the only resolution was for the pictures to be done off the ice for the younger age groups. This was not a decision our executive, Scott Corrigan or Dan McCracken (photographer) wanted to make but our hands were tied. On behalf of the executive, we are sorry the photos could not be done on the ice, and will work to improve them for next year.
