Hockey is back starting Jan 31st!!
With the recent announcement of Recreation Buildings opening back up January 31st, hockey is back! Practices will resume January 31st.
Please refer to the calendar for scheduled ice times.
"Allowing indoor spectator areas of facilities used for sports and recreational fitness activities (such as sporting events), concert venues, and theatres to operate at 50 per cent of the usual seating capacity or 500 people, whichever is less"
"No food or drink will be permitted in the facilities. Players may bring a personal water bottle"
"Ages 12 and up will require the Enhanced QR Code and ID to enter the building. Please make sure to have it downloaded to your phone or printed out on a piece of paper" THIS APPLIES TO EVERYONE, PLAYERS & PEOPLE ENTERING THE FACILITY.
Teams will still need to continue with contact tracing and player screening.
There is a meeting with the WOAA on January 27th to discuss the rest of the season. We assume that teams will be seeded, and some sort of round robin or qualifying rounds will start for playoffs. We will update everyone after the meeting.
We look forward to the kids getting back on the ice for the rest of the season!
