Midgets Dominate Championship Rematch
    The midget Local League team went into durham on saturday night and were playing in a rematch of the Championship series from just a season ago in which the boys came out on top. The boys were also playing for teammate Jarren Kerr as he was injured in the boys win friday against the TCDMHA rebels. Kerr is out for the remainder of the season.

    The boys came into Huskie Territory knowing that they were going to want revenge from just a season ago when the Rams defeated them in a 2-3 championship series for the Midget Local League Tittle. The boys were playing for a lot more then a rematch in this game as they were playing to keep there perfect season alive as they looked to go to 6-0. The Boys wasted no time getting on the huskies as they Potted there first goal at the 13:51 of the first period.The Goal was Scored By Tyler Kirkpatrick and Assisted by Jesse Bremmer.The Boys just kept coming in the first as they scored  another goal just 1:16 seconds later scored by Cody Mccracken assists went to Tyler Kirkpatick and Brock Doney. The boys were far from done in the first period. as they put another one on the board just :31 seconds later Scored by simon Griffith assists on the goal go to Spencer Shaw.The boys were Just not looking back as they scored anther goal just :45 seconds later the goal was scored by Brock Doney and assited by Cody Mccracken and Brad Corley. This resulted in a changing of goaltenders at the Huskie end of the ice and this decision by the Durham coaching staff just didn't slow down the rams for long anyway as the boys went on to pot 2 more goals in the first scored by Tyler Kirkpatrick completing the First period hat trick assists on Kirkpatricks goals went to Brandon Kopp and Scott Donald and his third goal was assisted by Brandon Kopp and Curtis Zippel. The Boys ended the first period completely in control at this point in the game with a 6-0 lead. 

    The Boys gave up the first goal in the second period. This gave the Huskies some confidence. The boys then replied with another goal of there own scored by Scott Donald and assisted by Spencer Shaw. The boys went on to add 2 more goals in the second period scored by Justin Byers and assisted by Brandon Kopp and the final goal of the second for the rams was scored by Brandon Kopp and assited by Justin Byers. The boys went into the dressing room for the intermission with a comfortable 9-1 lead. 
    
     To start the third some of the injured rams took the period off to get some rest the boys were in complete control on the ice. The third period did not see either team put anything behind each goaltender. The game ended with a 9-1 Win in the rematch for the rams and they added another win to there record and improved to 6-0 on the season the boys hope to keep the loss collum at 0 when they travel to South Hampton to play the Saugeen Shores # 1 team on November 10th 09 Good Luck to the boys and lets play the rest of this season for Jarren.
