Novice Reps Start The Year With a Bang !
Novice Reps Start The Year With a Bang! On Saturday September 25, the Mount Forest Rams Novice Rep team played the first of four exhibition games on home ice against The Listowel Cyclones. They were off to a quick start tallying five goals in the first two minutes.

The team never looked back and defeated the Cyclones 9-3. Leading the way offensively were William Black with four goals and two posts, Evan Dewar with a hat trick , followed by Owen Troyer with two of his own. The Rams continued their winning streak with wins against Saugeen Shores on Sunday, Sept.26 and again in Listowel on Tuesday, September 28. In just a few games, the boys have brought their individual talents together and are beginning to gel as a team. Fans were treated to nice passes, great goals and solid defensive play. Sunday, October 3, the Rams met up with The Seaforth Stars. The first period opened and the Rams wasted no time. William Black fired one past the goalie, putting the Rams on the board. Black and line mates, Gavyn Stevenson and Owen Troyer demonstrated skilful passing and shooting providing the Rams with a powerful scoring punch. Equally as impressive was the two-way play of forwards Brody LeBlanc, Evan Dewar and Patrick Brown. Mount Forest continued to dominate The Stars and finished the day with an 11-0 victory, with a shut-out going to "Stonewall Jacksen" Mackenzie. Assisting McKenzie with strong puck-moving were defensemen Luke Eurig, Brayden Darroch, Jake Kleinsteuber and Owen Moyer.
