The Mount Forest Atom LL 'SCARES' away the Competition on Hallowe'en!
The Atom LL hosted the TCDMHA Rebels this weekend for the annual Reeves Tournament. The Rebels began the game with the opening goal scored early in the period, but The Rams were not afraid, and battled back!
Tyler Duncan started the Hallowe'en haunt with a goal in retaliation, and Austin Malott quickly followed suit, assisted by Kaleb Rice and Tyler Stewart. Score at the end of the first; 2-1
Second period action saw the Rams push forward past their opposition. Eli McCook, assisted by Tanner Gordon, opened the period with a quick goal, and moments later McCook, assisted by Rice, did it again. Nathan Zeinstra, and Garrason Lewis, assisted by defenceman Parker Snyders, finished off the period. 6-1 bottom of the second.
Third period action saw Colby Storey, assisted by Zeinstra and Rice open with goal 7, and then Cole Whitten followed suit. Bottom of the third McCook, assisted by Mallot, threw in the ninth and moments later, McCook finished it off. End of game score; Rams 10, Rebels 1
