Rams are on a Crusade!
The Atom LL defeated the opposition in a crushing defeat last Wednesday night in Clifford.
In a game which was reminiscent of the previous Clifford game, the Rams came out strong. Eli McCook put the Rams on the board, with an assist from Austin Mallot and Colby Storey, and repeated the action with a second, assisted by Tyler Stewart. First period action closed with a goal from Brett Stewart, assisted by defenseman Parker Snyders.
Second period saw Snyders tuck one in, when assisted by Garrason Lewis, followed by a quick one by Tyler Duncan, assisted by Kaleb Rice. The Thunder retaliated, but stellar performance by goalie Rourke Elliot staved off the competition. Mallot, assisted by McCook, threw in the team's sixth goal, followed by goals from both McCook and Storey. Score bottom of the second: Rams - 8 Thunder - 0
Top of the third, the Rams continued their assault and Rice, assisted by McCook, opened the period. Duncan followed suit, assisted by Stewart. Mallot threw in his second goal of the game, followed by a third goal from Duncan, and a fourth for McCook.
