Walkerton Capitals & Durham Huskies
Rams met stiff competition in the past week...
The Capitals came out strong early in the first period on Saturday, November 27 in Walkerton. Scoring 2 quick goals, did not deter the Rams, who retaliated when Kaleb Rice, assisted by Tyler Duncan, shot a fast one in. Three minutes later Rice, unassisted, battled back scoring a quick second goal. Parker Snyders, assisted by Eli McCook and Duncan, scored what was to be the last goal for the Rams that day. In spite of Rourke Elliot's amazing saves, well into the third, the Rams came up short.
Final score: Walkerton 6, Rams 3.
The following day's action saw the Durham Huskies meeting the Rams on home ice. After a scoreless first period, the Huskies poured it on, and were up by two and in the third, scored two more. Mount Forest was put on the scoreboard by Kaleb Rice, assisted by Brett Stewart, who scored Ram's only goal with only 1:52 remaining in the third.
Finals score: Durham 4, Rams 1.
