Atom Girls Showing Potential at Orangeville Sweethearts Tournament
The Rams Atom Girls are off to a great start at the Orangeville Sweethearts Tournament this weekend, winning both their Friday games.
They played a solid first game against Hamilton-Norfolk, winning 1-0. A great game played by all with Savanna Rebhan leading the team by playing hard right to the end. MVP honours went to goaltender Marissa Cottingham for "some excellent hockey" and great saves to keep us ahead right to the end. Samantha Gans takes the credit for single goal scored all game.
Second game against Orangeville was again some great hockey with a score of 4-1 for the Rams. Samantha Gans was a force to reckoned with, taking a hat trick and MVP. Other goal credit goes to Addison Fisher.
