Peewee Girls Local League, U13, 2010/2011 (Mt Forest Minor Hockey Association)

The Mount Forest Girls came out on fire for their first regular season win. What a way to get it with a shut out. (yay)

The North Stars had a long drive to get to Mount Forest and it was clear they were eager to make to most of it, the Rams didn't give it away, but looked less ready and willing to give it their all....

As always before the game started, there was a skills competition, which featured the fastest skater, the hardest shot and there were points to win for accuracy. The girls who tried their best were Jenna, Natalee, Erica, Danielle, Jordyn and Kaithlyn.

First game in a whole new season and the girls were ready! It started immediately with some nice passing between Jenna and Jordyn as they rushed toward the Storms end. But it wasn’t their first game and they came back quick. It got busy and a bit stressfull for first time goalie Meagan, but she managed great. 

Peewee LL girls season debut is on October 23rd at 3pm in Port Elgin. The girls home opener is on October 28th against the Rebels. Let the season begin!!
