Schedule & Results, Novice Girls, U9, 2011/2012 (Mt Forest Minor Hockey Association)

This was a great game from start to finish. The girls came to play and so did the BP North Stars. All the girls put in a solid effort on both ends of the ice. The scoring started out with a shot from the side of the net which trickled in past Sandra Nanninga for the first goal of the game to put Mt Forest down 1-0 . As the game entered the second period the puck was cleared from our end and sent down the ice by Chloe Roy. The Chase was on as speedy Chaise McRobb blew past 2 of their D and and was on a break away, the first shot hit the goalie but she stayed with it and potted in the rebound to tie the game the girls and the lively crown at the Clifford arena went crazy. After the back and forth play by both teams the NB team got a break with 5 mins to play and got the go ahead marker. The goalie was pulled and the girls where all over them,they just couldn"t get it in the net we must have missed six open nets. It was a hard fought entertaining game put in by both teams I know the girls are looking at redemption next time we play them.
