Opening up the scoring for the
night was Alex Bondy from Jessie Robinson and Darren Lozan. A shift later seen that same line scores
again, Robinson from Bondy. About a min
later it was Bondy from Doney and Kerr, to end MFs scoring in the first 3-0.
Blyth scored 2 times to finish the 1st 3-2 MF.
The 2nd period seen Alex Bondy rifle a shot from the top of the circle to complete his hat trick. Brett Doney made an end to end rush to score making it 5-2 MF. Doney again scored with a saucer pass from Matt Hogg bringing the lead to 4 goals. Jessie Robinson scored with a pass from Kerr to keep his 2 goals a game streak alive. Again Doney pounded one into the net to complete his hat trick for the night finishing off the 2nd 8-2.
Cool heads didn’t prevail on either side of the ice in the third period littered by penalty’s all period, the third only had one goal by Connar Kerr to firmly plant Blyth in the ground with 9 nails in the coffin.
