Rams give the horns to Wolf pack: Nov 2nd 2012
Shelburne
Wolves visited Mount Forest the past Friday for an exhibition game against the
Midget Local League team. The scoring was started off quick at 13:02 with
Connor Kerr slipping a shot by the keep assisted by Captain Nathan Marshal.
Striking at 10:05 was Jessie Robinson grabbing some garbage around the net to
make it 2-0. Shelburne got on the board at 7:23 with Brian Burke slipping one
by Dylan Laprade.
MF answer right back at 6:13 with a goal from Matt Hogg Assisted by Captain Marshal and Darren Lozan. Connor Kerr struck 3 more time in the first with assists bye Jessie Robinson, Maverick Holiday, and Owen Milne. The 2nd started off slower, with no goals till 10:33, Nolan Officer scored unassisted, and at 9:07 Owen Milne scored from a timely pass from Officer. Shelburne struck one more time, with a goal by Aaron Ricci assisted by Patrick Lynch at 4:20. MF played a controlled first two periods getting only 5 penalties in the 1st and the 2nd combined.
The 3rd period saw little scoring, MF scored once at 11:35 Darren Lozan from Captain Marshal and Jessie Robinson. Most of the third was played well till there was 6mins left in the game, then both teams Became hot headed and spent time going in and out of the penalty box. All in all 39 minutes of great hockey was seen by all in attendance.
