Time to get ready again!
After a week of peaceful slumber and too much to eat, it is time get up and going on the ice again, the first regular season game against South Huron is coming up and history tells  us that is not going to be a "skate" in the park!

And to get in to the mood again, we thought it would be a great idea to put anybody that accomplishes something, it can be anything as long as it has to do with hockey and it stands out and is inspiring to others!
For instance a powerful shot or hard work, or a beautiful defensive move, wonderful line work or just being incredible fast at practise, gets your picture and story on this website being "Our Hockey Star of the Day"! and our first one is......

OLIVIA

Olivia has always been one to have a sense of adventure, she's the type of girl to simply try something just because she's never done it before.

So Olivia signed herself up for the
Long game.... It was going to be played  on the World Girls Hockey Celebration weekend. It may have seem like a long shot , but Olivia said "why not". Lots of information was needed, the division and the team is played in, last year's team, her age, position, etc., all was submitted and then she just waited....and during the last week of september the email came saying that she had been selected to play on the Girls Midget team!!!!

It was a great experience and there was some excellent hockey played in all age divisions.  Olivia played with other Midget girls from all over including Sudbury, Huntsville, Peterborough, Port Colborne and the GTA.
Olivia's passion is hockey, she loves playing for the Rams and she enjoys the many friendships and opportunities that playing hockey has given her.

Well, Olivia we love your determination, it shows on the ice...and that makes you our first...
"Hockey Star of the Day"!
