As Christmas is creeping closer, sending most of us into panic mode, there is one girl that no doubt will keep her cool....
...she is being described by her coaches as a quiet hard, working girl that does not shy away from playing physical hockey when needed...
...she started her hockey career when she was 4 years young, for the Minto Mad Dogs boys team and played right up until bantam.
Her atom team was undefeated and the proof of that is still on a t-shirt with tournaments and games won.
When she came to bantam age, she got called up to the Mad Dogs midget team, and showing one of her strengths, she gave them their first victory with a shot from the blue line and scored the winning goal, 3-2!
Now boys shall be boys, and it got a bit too rough for her taste and that's when she decided to play Girls Only and chose Mount Forest as her home base!
And we are sure glad she did, because she has a great hard shot, but as she proved last week, is pretty stealthy on skates as well as she deked out a few girls on her way to the net, who are still looking for their "jills".
