As our last tournament (and very important...no pressure ;) of the year is approaching fast, there is one girl that will have another chance at it next year.... but unfortunately won't be joining all of you this year....
...she started playing hockey (finally) as a novice defence with the boys after a few stints in ballet...and switched them out for the real thing, as a forward with the girls! As she played out of town in Bantam the pull to Mount Forest was something that couldn't be denied and we are very happy she came back....
Her coaches say she is a player with lots of technical skills, a good set of hands and a pair of quick feet and that makes her very useful on the powerplay and penaltie killing.
She has a great sense of humor and loves to joke around with her teammates.
...and because of all that and we will miss you lots...
