NOVICE GIRLS C, U9, 2018-2019 (Mt Forest Minor Hockey Association)

As we close the book on the 2018/2019 season it is time to look ahead.   We have a handful of girls wanting to play Novice hockey, BUT we need some more. Last season we had some girls join us from outside organizations. The girls all expressed the same sentiment, it is a lot more fun playing with girls. So if you have a girl player born in 2011 or 2012 please give it consideration. Registration is on line at MFMH                                                

Friday morning found the Novice girls ready to do battle with Guelph Gryphons. With the team trailing 2-1 in the dying minutes Catlin Tran found a lose puck in the crease and banged it home to tie the game. Final 2-2. Friday afternoon the opposition was the Saugeen Shores Storm. Grace Holliday and Amberlee Moore led the scoring with 2 goals each. Singles went Ava Rice, Myah Radjocin, Julia Gilbert, Nykoya Brodrech, and Faith Fuller. Final score 9-0. The defensive play of Anna Aitken,Madeline Lillico, Abby Morrison, Catlin Tran and Ava Rice helped in preserving the shut out for goalie Laura ...

After a spirited practice on Saturday morning the team had a BBQ at Amberlee Moore's home.  After playing some games and having lunch the girls were treated to a horseback ride. There were lots of giggles and laughs, a great team start to what will be an interesting season. Next practice Tuesday 5.30pm.

Welcome Novice Girls. First ice time is Thursday Sept 6, 4.30pm. Second practice is Sat Sep 8 11am. After practice Sat we have been invited to Jeff and Julie Moore for a BBQ. A great opportunity for the girls and parents to get to know each other.
