Look, if you had one shot, one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted, one moment. Would you capture it or just let it slip? — rap icon Eminem Mount Forest’s Bantam Girls hockey team took their opportunity and went the distance, winning the 2009 International Women’s Silver Stick Tournament in Cold Creek, Ontario.

The Bantam Girls now know how it feels to win the Gold. They played undefeated for the entire tournament. Good Job Girls!!!!

The Bantam girls finished with the finalist medal in Saugeen Shores Regional Silverstick Nov. 28, 29 and 30th. They played excellent hockey the entire weekend. Tamara Officer played 5 great games in net, holding the team in the tournament. Holy Mollie what a Goalie! She had 2 shut outs, allowing only 4 goals the entire 5 game tournament. The defence lines stood their ground and played great defensive games, keeping the puck out of our end. The offense lines worked very hard at getting the puck into the net with lots of chances and some great passing and goals. All the girls showed up for ...
