Novice L.L. enjoyed a winning weekend!
The Mount Forest Novice L.L. team enjoyed a winning weekend of hockey,  Saturday, November 14th, the Walkerton Capitals were met with stiff competition when Colby Storey and Eli McCook scored in the first minute of the game.  This goal followed by one from Nathan Zeinstra, unassisted.  Colby rounded out the period with another one, assisted by Eli an Kaleb Rice.
Sceond period, Hanna Gerrie came out strong, assisted by Brody Leblanc and Nathan.  Eli followed with 2 more unassisted goals, and Hanna came back for a second of the game, assisted by Nathan and Brody.  Then Eli put it to Addison Fisher, who scored her first career goal!  Second period ended with an unassisted goal by Brody.  Score at the bottom of the second, 9-1.
Third period action saw two unassisted goals by Kaleb and Parker Snyders, then Brody came back for another goal too.  With only 40 seconds left of the game, Nathan lopped one in to result in a 13-2 Victory for the Rams!



Sunday, the Rams traveled to face off against the Kincardine Kinucks where goalie Noah Feslbourg enjoyed a shut-out!  The team came out strong in the first period with Eli McCook scoring the first goal of the game unassisted.  Minutes later, Luke Eurig popped one in, assisted by Hanna Gerrie.
Second Period action saw Luke and Nathan Zeinstra score, both unassisted, while Hanna and Kaleb ensured a victory with their goals, assisted by Nathan and Luke.  Nathan assisted again by passing the puck to Luke and the period ended with a score of 7-0 as Kaleb Rice assisted by Parker, threw another one in for good measure.
Third period action saw the Rams continue to play well, with Luke scoring, followed by Parker and Hanna, both assisted by Kaleb.  Then, Kaleb got one of his own, assisted by Addison Fisher.  Then, with only 45 seconds remaining.  Parker closed out the game for a score of 12-0.  Thanks to great defense by Evelyn Nanninga & Alexander Varallo.

"Players of the game" November 14th was Addison Fisher and November 15th was Luke Eurig.
