Novice Rep, U9, 2010/2011 (Mt Forest Minor Hockey Association)

The Reps finished their regular season undefeated and rode the winning streak into the playoffs.  In their first series against the Walkerton Capitals the Rams put away the competition quickly and efficiently, three games straight. Next up, was a round robin series against Mitchell and Goderich with the top two teams playing off in the finals.

The Mount Forest Rams made quick work of the Walkerton Capitals in the first round of the playoffs. The Reps outscored their opponent - 30 to 1 in the three game sweep. The Novice boys now await the winners of two other series - Saugeen Shores vs. Goderich and Kincardine vs. Mitchell. The winners of these series will take on the Rams in a Round Robin with the top two teams going to the finals.

Congratulations to the Novice Rep Rams for their undefeated regular season. The Reps started off strong and ended the season dominating the competition.  The Rams success can be directly related to the consistent effort of the whole team. Thank you to the coaching staff for their time and dedication. The Rams now enter into the WOAA playoffs. Go Rams!

The Mount Forest Novice Rep team took some time this year to raise money by doing a bottle drive. A total $1100 was raised and donated to Ruth MacDonald on behalf of the Christmas Bureau to help families this Christmas.  The great success of this fundraiser can be attributed to the team effort that was put forth by everyone.  Players, coaches and their families all played a role in making it a success.  Christmas is a time for giving and these hockey players did this by simply giving their time to collect and sort bottles.  The support received for this fundraising event was overwhelming.  A ...

From the 2nd to the 5th of December 2010, the Novice Reps took their talents to Centre Wellington(Fergus/Elora) to take part in an “A” Level tournament.
