The Season is upon us......
Alright Peewee LL Players and Parents it is time to get this season rolling!!

It has been a hectic first couple of weeks, but now that all the scheduling and minor details are out of the way *fingers crossed*.....the season is here and ready to roll! First things first....

HOCKEY CANADA SKILLS CAMP

For those of you who are attending the skills camp, it starts at 8:30a.m this Saturday morning (Oct. 16th). Please try to be there around 8:15am, we begin with the  off-ice session first but we need to register before we can begin. Glad to see the high number of kids attending from our team. It should be a great day filled with lots of learning.....and fun too!!

EXHIBITION GAMES

We have 2 exhibition games scheduled for this weekend!! FINALLY!! It is always nice to get a couple of games in before the season starts and see how well the boys can work together. We will be playing

  Saturday, October 16th 4pm @ Mt.Forest vs. Drayton  and

  Sunday, October 17th 8 am @ Hanover

Our regular season will get underway next week, on Wednesday night in Drayton!! We have just finished making up the schedules and we will have them available on Saturday at the game! Anyone who has not returned their Player Health Forms will need to do so before the game this Saturday.

REEVES CUP CHALLENGE

As you are all aware, our game is Wed. Oct 27th at 7:45pm. MFMH has challenged TCDMHA to a "Best Costume" contest and a "Best Carved Pumpkin" contest as well. They are asking ALL players to come to their games wearing a costume that they think will win a "point" for their team. AND 3 carved pumpkins, to be judged during the game, in order to win another "point". Let's try to be as creative as we can!! We will be able to pick up our teams pumpkins on picture day (Oct.24th). We would like to arrange a get together with the team on either the Monday or Tuesday night to carve some pumpkins. Anyone with any suggestions please feel free to come talk to any member of the coaching staff. The more suggestions the better!!

WALTER GRETZKY TOURNAMENT

We are registered and awaiting this fun filled weekend! Our boys will all get a chance to meet with "The Ultimate Hockey Dad" Mr. Walter Gretzky. He is an amazing man and story teller, it is something that the boys will remember for a lifetime. I have gone ahead and booked 10 rooms with the Quality Inn and Suites in Brantford. They were only able to give me 10 rooms for now, so should we need more I will have to wait until other teams Rooming Lists are completed. If you are interested in staying and spending the weekend please let me know and I can email our rooming link to you. They are offering us Standard rooms - 2 Queens beds, fridge, FREE continental breakfast, swimming pool for $95.00 a night. I have to have my rooming list completed and submitted by December 1st so the sooner anyone decides to stay the better! It will be LOTS OF FUN!!!!

TOURNAMENT FEES

Tournament fees are due this Saturday.  We appreciate how fast the cheques have been coming in. It helps us to assure our spots in the tournaments we enter.Anyone who hasn't yet, if you could please get this to Ann as soon as possible, or make arrangements that would be great. Please make cheques payable to Ann White.

Lastly.....

Grocery tickets!! If there is anyone who has sold their tickets.......I will gladly take their booklets! Tickets are due back A.S.A.P. The draw this year will be on OCTOBER 30TH.

Good luck Peewee Boys!! Let's have a great season!

See you all at the arena,

Amanda
