After a couple of 1 goal game losses, the boys came out for the Reeves cup and didnt hold anything back in dumping the TCDMHA Rebels 6-1.
Carsten Cottingham who was playing forward for the first time this season started the scoring for the Rams early in the first to put us up on the board.
Alex Droog added another before the period was over to give us a 2 goal lead heading into the 2nd period.
Brennon MaRobbie scored in the 2 and Cottingham added another goal with 14 seconds left in the period to put the Rams ahead 4-0 heading into the third.
Daniel Conrad and Aidan Felsbourg got their first goals of the season in the 3rd to make it 6-0 and goaltender Tyler Rice continued to make big saves until 45 seconds left in the game when the Rebels put one past him to break the shut out.
Game MVP Devon Morgon had a big game with 3 assists and other assists went to Kieran White, Chris Kelley with a few, Cottingham,Felsbourg, Conrad, and MacRobbie with a pair.
Although not all players made it on the game sheet, it was a team effort from the whole team with some great playing from Captain Jarod Bowden, some big hits from Kyle Hieber, Joel Webers,Zack Hess and Jordan Allen, and some good defense from all 6 defencemen including Tyler Troup, David Scott and Andrew Zorychta
The coaches are very proud of the way the team has been plaing and knew it was a matter of time until the puck started going in the net.
The Rams look to carry on their great play this weekend when they travel to Durham to take on the Huskies.
